The problem isn't compassion. It's coordination.

Thousands of animals in overcrowded shelters depend on volunteer networks to reach foster homes, veterinary care, and rescue partners. But today, most of that coordination still happens through Facebook groups, spreadsheets, and group texts — tools never designed for the time-sensitive, multi-leg logistics of animal rescue.

When coordination breaks down, animals miss critical placement windows. They stay in shelters longer than necessary. And when space runs out, some don't make it — not because no one cared, but because no one had the right tool at the right moment.

Paws and Claws Crew exists to change that.

We are building a free, purpose-built platform connecting volunteers, rescues, and shelters through a centralized coordination system designed from the ground up for the rescue community. Every feature was informed by the people who do this work — over 50 rescuers, fosters, transporters, and shelter leaders helped shape what we're building before we wrote a single line of code.

Where We Are

Paws and Claws Crew is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit, incorporated in September 2025 and based in Louisville, Kentucky. We are currently in Phase 1 of a three-phase development plan — raising the funds needed to build, test, and launch our platform across a seven-state pilot region.

Our founding team brings together hands-on rescue experience, certified project management, information security expertise, and technical systems development. We are not starting from theory. We are building from lived experience — and we are building to last.
